Main Chair - Pavlos Vaenas
I am Pavlos Vaenas, I am 19 years old and I come from Kastoria. I am currently living in Thessaloniki, where I pursue my undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I gained my first MUN experience at the age of 15 and I have participated in several simulations, including both UN as well as EU Institutions, ever since. International law and diplomacy constitute some of my primary academic interests, whereas I also speak three foreign languages; English, French and German. I am particularly looking forward to meeting you all, since I am very passionate about the agenda of the committee which I will be chairing, the Historical one. My motto for ArcMUN 2020 goes as follows; “History shall be rewritten, mistakes shall not be repeated.”

Co-Chair - Melvin-Solomon Berkowitz
I am Melvin Berkowitz, a Greek-American who lives in Thessaloniki, Greece and currently attending the 10th grade at Anatolia College. Out of my circumstances, I have grown a passion for learning languages, and in the near future, I aspire to become fluent in Spanish, Italian, German and Russian. Some of my other passions include poetry, literature, drama, music, but above all Netflix and desserts-or food in general. Since my first contact with MUN in 2017, I have fallen in love, not only with the conference itself, but also with the worlds of diplomacy and politics, as well as history. I always say that the best solution to every problem is education. This year’s ArCMUN, will be my first time chairing, but I am very excited to do so in the (amazing) Historical Committee along with my wonderful Co-Chair.
