Zarogianni Fotini - Secretary General
Zarogianni Fotini was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She is currently studying Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as an undergraduate student, and her plan is to specialise in International Affairs and Politics, International Law and, most importantly, in Diplomacy. Thus, she has participated in numerous Model United Nations Conferences, both as a chairperson/member of the secretariat and as a delegate. Her experience led her to the belief that simulations broaden each person’s both academic and personal/social horizons. She is a highly communicative, cooperative and energetic person with several hobbies such as the reading of books, especially of political, historical and philosophical ones, photography, cooking and travelling. Last but not least, along with her colleagues, they hope that you can depart away from ARCMUN 2018 with an amazing experience that will provide a broader perspective and a stronger character and with memorable moments and friendships that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Kostaras Georgios Christos – Deputy Secretary General
Hello everyone! My name is Georgios Christos Kostaras, although everyone calls me George and I would like to welcome you to this year's edition of ArcMUN, which sets the goal to be at its best! This will be my second time in this conference, as it has proven to be an annual diplomatic meeting of country representatives but most importantly of friends. The quality of this conference derives from its passionate people, thus making it one of the best in the Balkan region in the High School level. Few things about me, I was born in the beautiful city of Kavala and I study in the Department of Political Sciences in Aristotle University at Thessaloniki. Currently, I attend my last semester, hoping to complete my studies in time and then proceed with an M.A in International Conflict Analysis and Security. In the same spirit, simulations have helped me to configure my preferences and pursue my goals and as from this September I will attend my internship in the Hellenic Permanent Representation of Greece to O.S.C.E (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) in Vienna. Also, I am fond of experiencing different prospects of politics, for that reason I have completed my internship in the City Council Secretariat of the Municipality of Kavala. Relevantly, I was lucky enough to be surrounded with friends who loved our city and the idea of simulations, a collective effort which gave birth to Dialogos the 1st Simulation of the Municipal Council of Kavala. Also, the previous two years I served as a member of the Executive Board of GRAPESS (Greek Association of Political and Economic Science Students), I attach great importance to International Organizations, because they provide a better understanding not only of our world, but also of ourselves. I have participated in more than 15 conferences in Greece and abroad during the last three years, while I managed to broaden my knowledge at International Politics, discover the academic sector that I want to follow, create concrete friendships and become more complete as a person. Subsequently, my advice is ''try to gain as much as you can from this experience''. Along with my beautiful colleagues and friends Foteini, Dimitra and and Panagiotis
we will do everything to assist you and make this experience
a mesmerizing journey for you! The best is yet to come!

George Mourgkos - Vice President of The General Assembly
Hello, future diplomats and current political visionaries. My name is George Mourgkos and I am a senior at Aristoteleio College Thessaloniki who aspires to study neurobiology in the USA. I play the violin, I am a foodie and a passionate cook and I love photography. I have a boundless love and curiosity for international affairs and diplomacy and, therefore, I have participated in numerous MUN Conferences throughout my high school career. From being the wife of Genghis Khan in a Historical Committee in a MUN conference in Boston to being part of the double delegation of Japan in the Security Council of Global-In Fellowship MUN 2017, my interests in such conferences are -to say the least- diverse. Through these experiences, I came to understand the importance of respect, dialogue, and multiculturalism, values which I hope you can also embrace during your participation in ARCMUN 2018. Now, being the Deputy President of the GA, I hope that I can contribute to making this MUN experience a remarkable and memorable one for all of you. It is truly an honor to be a part of this year’s ARCMUN Secretariat and I am impatiently looking forward to spending time with all of you, aspiring future diplomats.
