Main Chair - Maria Stefiadou
I am Maria and I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am 21 years old at the moment, and a student at the Political Sciences Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Erasmus student at the Department of International Relations of the University of Warsaw. Besides my studies, I am also working as a political journalist and columnist on Greek news websites. Throughout my academic years, I have participated in many MUN conferences in Greece and around the world, from Bucharest to Tel Aviv. My interests concern mainly international and contemporary affairs, along with gender and security studies. Apart from attending MUN simulations, I love spending my time reading, traveling and hanging out with friends. I am very excited and full of energy regarding this year’s ARCMUN and I'm looking forward to meet each and every delegate of the UN WOMEN Committee!

Co-Chair - Vasia Tsanikidou
My name is Vasia, I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Thessaloniki. I am an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University. My passion for MUNs dates back to my high school years, when I started MUN in order to practice on my English, but then I realised that except for that MUNs are entertaining,inspiring and help you organise your way of thinking and cultivate your interest on international affairs. Humanity faces countless issues at present and MUN is a form of preparation for those who will make the change happen. Besides my love for MUN I also enjoy writing, reading articles about humanitarian topics, watching films and taking long walks, activities that can be included in my spare time. I’m more than delighted to be given the position of Co Chair in this ARCMUN. I am optimistic that the UN WOMEN committee will achieve an active and absorbing debate and I promise to do my best to meet your expectations!

Junior Chair - Despina Papadopoulou
My name is Despina, I am 18 years old and a student at the department of Nursing Science of the International University of Greece, in Thessaloniki where I was born and raised. Having participated in several MUN conferences and rhetorical races I believe that the “mun world” could be a great start for young students, to understand how complex the international problems are and that there are several ways young people can have an impact on various issues while being in the know. Some of my passions include biology and psychology, since I find them as an interesting way to learn more about how humans function and think. At my free time, I usually hang out with friends and listen to music. While being very excited about this year’s ARCMUN conference, since it will be my first time participating as a chair, I really look forward to helping the delegates of the UN WOMEN Committee to have their best experience possible!
