Chrysoula Gkana - Main Chair
Born and raised in Thessaloniki, Chrysoula Gkana graduated from Delasalle College in 2013. Currently, she in an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Law in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a fluent English and French speaker and she is learning German. In 2011, she participated in her first MUN experience, in Hague, The Netherlands, and hasn’t stopped ever since. As a result, she has participated in more than 10 MUN conferences, in high school and university edition, both in English and in French, and this will be her 5th time as a Board Member. Furthermore, she has been the Head of Judges in “Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens”, a city council simulated in French, for 4 consecutive years. Moreover, she is a permanent member of the “European Law Students Association (ELSA)” in Thessaloniki, having served as a Director for Seminars and Conferences in 2016-2017. As a young lady, she is interested in diplomacy, international law, politics and sports. In her free time she is practicing martial arts, she is a decent singer and occasionally is participating in music concerts and she used to be a radio producer in “ΝΕΩΝ” web radio station. Her secret dream is to become a TV presenter and her TV idols are Oprah Winfrey and Larry King. This will be her first participation in ARCMUN, so her first message to all delegates is: “Get ready for the most thrilling and entertaining experience of your life! Along with my lovely co-chair, Ioannis, let’s make ECOSOC great again!”.

Ioannis Maniatakos - Co Chair
Ioannis Maniatakos was born in Lesvos, was raised in Naoussa and is currently a 4th year undergraduate student in Law Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His interest and passion for MUN simulations started 2 years ago and ever since, he has successfully participated in several conferences of Greek and international bodies. Moreover, as a law student, he is a permanent member of the “European Law Students’ Association (ELSA)” in Thessaloniki and has served as a Director for Financial Management in the academic year 2016-2017. His interests include economics, diplomacy, politics and international law, he is a football and basketball lover and in his free time, he enjoys having fun with his friends and taking walks in the city. This will be his first time in ARCMUN and his first message to all delegates is: “Dear all, I am more than happy to serve as a member of the board of ECOSOC. In this year’s ECOSOC, diplomats will have the opportunity to discuss and decide upon issues that real diplomats do. Together with my partner, Chrysoula, we promise you fruitful debates and an unforgettable experience”.

Hello MUN friends! My name is Nicole Trypani and I’m a senior in Aristotelio College who aspires to study law. I started participating in ArcMUN as a delegate 3 years ago and since then I have never missed a single year ! This year it will be the first time that I join ArcMUN as a chair and I really hope to learn a lot from it. May ArcMUN 2018 be the most exciting and inspiring of all!
