Maria Eleni Papavramidou - Co Chair
My name is Maria-Eleni Papavramidou and I am studying Political Sciences, in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I love my studies, especially because they focus on many fields as Political Sociology, Political Philosophy and of course International Affairs. MUNs have been an amazing experience for me as it gave me to opportunity not only to enhance my academic knowledge but also to meet new people and places all over the globe. I have been exploring this colorful world since my first year of studies, and this will be my first chairing experience, therefore it is a great pleasure and honour for me to serve in ARCMUN 2018 and especially in such a marvelous committee.
If anyone asked me a reason to participate in ARCMUN 2018 I would strongly encourage them to step out of their comfort zone and see for themselves what has been charming millions of students all over the world: unforgettable experiences with new friends, but most importantly opportunities to speak their minds about such important issues internationally and maybe take the first step to changing the world.
We will try to make ARCMUN 2018 an amazing experience for all of you. Join us and you will see!

Penny Giouvanaki - Junior Chair:
Hello everyone, my name is Penny Giouvanaki! I was born and raised in the lively city of Thessaloniki. I have been participating in the ArcMUN since I was 13 years old, and I must confess that it has gifted me with rewarding experiences which broadened my horizons and altered my way of perceiving the world. I love learning foreign languages and communicating with people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, which is probably the main reason I got involved in the ArcMUN. My expectations for this year’s conference are high, but I am certain that they will be exceeded as our participants’ astonishing dynamic is capable of making ArcMUN 2018 another memorable experience for all of us. To all of you delegates: prepare yourselves for this year’s amazing conference!
